The Learning Gate Community School is continuing its goal to maintain an educational curriculum based on the environment. In an effort to expand, they have done so with nine new, state-of-the-art classrooms (three buildings) never before constructed. Aside from their award-winning organic garden, unique outside classrooms, and recycling/compost centers around every corner, they’ve decided to apply these new structures for the highest level of green achievable by the Leadership of Environmental and Energy Design (LEED).
