Grofun Birmingham (Growing Real Organic Food in Urban Neighbourhoods) is a fantastic community project we joined recently. On 2nd May, 15 – 20 people arrived in our garden, and by the time they’d left it was completely transformed. We now have a shed, a new raised veg bed, a path, lots of organic vegetables in the ground and 2 improved seating areas for BBQs and summer chillin’! Thank you all Grofunners, we rock! Oh, and the BBC also turned up to film the project for Gardener’s World.
