Located in picturesque Ashville, NC, the Center for Massage and Natural Health welcomes prospective students to enroll in its 600-hour massage and bodywork therapy certification program, which prepares candidates to pass the National Certification exam in massage therapy and succeed in this fast-growing occupation.
If you like working with animals, the Center for Massage and Natural Health also offers three equine massage courses, as well as a combination equine massage program (entailing all three). With the main requirement being that students possess a love for horses, any one can enroll in this space-limited program where you learn fundamentals of equine anatomy, pathology, and physiology — in addition to hands-on application of specific bodywork techniques geared toward horses.
Want to become certified in herbalism, or enhance your established natural healthcare practice? At the Center for Massage and Natural Health, prospective herbalists can participate in any one of a number of herbal medicine programs that teach students the history, theory and application of herbal medicine. In this course of study, students gain in-depth knowledge about plants and their affects on organ systems, among other related studies.
Boasting NCBTMB-approved (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) continuing education (CE) workshops, licensed massage therapists may enroll in any one of the Center for Massage and Natural Health’s CE classes including Shiatsu intensive training, polarity therapy, “Integrating the Emotional Body” (California-style massage), flower essences in massage therapy, deep tissue massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, Reiki, craniosacral therapy, and more.
