The Senate Republican Conference met to hear testimony on the proposal to build 100 new nuclear power plants by 2020, which would double nuclear’s current 20% of US electricity. The 90-minute session was pared down to the technical aspects of the proposal, by deleting some of the economic and political arguments. The remaining 55 minutes was cut into 7 consecutive parts, to make each part less than YouTube’s 10-minute limit. This is Part 1
