Premier Kristina Keneally and Minister for Planning Tony Kelly announced approval of the Kyoto Energy Park in Scone, NSW. The Kyoto Energy Park will power some 47000 homes across the Hunter Valley and remove 60000 cars of the road each year. The park will comprise of 34 Wind Turbine Generators, 20 Hectares of Solar Panels and a Closed Loop Hydro Generator acting as a water battery.
